Los Cabos Billfish Tournament is back! The fishing event is set to take place October 15-19, 2023. Off-Shore Fisherman Rob DiNoto features the tournament prizes and awards available for this year’s competition:
Los Cabos Billfish Tournament is an annual fishing competition hosted in Los Cabos, Mexico, a city in the state of Baja California Sur at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. A hotspot location for off-shore and deep water fishing, Cabo is considered the Marlin capital of the world. To say this location is a ‘must visit’ spot for off-shore fishing enthusiasts would be an understatement to Rob DiNoto!
At the Awards Banquet on Thursday, October 19, 2023, winning teams will enjoy a plate to table dinner at the Playa Grande Resort’s Beachside Terrace. Awards and prizes will be dispersed at the honorary event. Last year, catches honored at the 2022 awards ceremony included 138 billfish, 91 striped marlin, 26 blue marlin, 19 sailfish and 2 black marlin. Last year’s jackpots totaled more than $800K, with entry fees for off-shore fishermen teams starting at $5,000 each.
