The summer is winding down… But that isn’t stopping Rob DiNoto from heading out on the water to catch some fish! Here is DiNoto’s personal checklist of fish to catch this summer while off-shore fishing:
Blue Marlin
Rob DiNoto has already reeled in plenty of these in the past… But he’s still waiting for that big catch this summer! Even though we’re in the final stages of summer, this fisherman is still hopeful to catch a Blue Marlin. These hefty fish weigh in at 300 – 500 lbs, making for quite the catch!
Yellowfin Tuna
A common catch among off-shore fisherman is the Yellowfin Tuna. These fish average anywhere from 2 to 40 lbs, but they can reach up to 400 lbs. The largest Yellowfin Tuna Rob DiNoto ever caught was a whopping 100 lbs! That experience certainly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. But the fisherman is still eager to reel another big one in again!
Great Barracuda
Another common marine fish sought out during an off-shore fishing trip is the Great Barracuda. This catch averages about 3 to 7 lbs, making for a nice entry level to intermediate off-shore fishing experience. These fish are quite common, so naturally, Rob DiNoto has reeled in plenty this summer.
Wahoo
Last but not least, Rob DiNoto has his sights set on reeling in a Wahoo, or Acanthocybium solanderi. These weigh in at an average of 15-20 lbs, making for quite the satisfying meal after a long day out on the boat. In the past, DiNoto has spotted Wahoos in the 100 pound range.
